       Silver Div)

• University of Humacao, PR – Coach for 2 years

• 1995 High School Best Player Sports Award given by the Mayor of Caguas P.R.

• Selected MVP 7 times in High School Career

• College Volleyball - 2 years of experience playing College Volleyball

• 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year SJA Catholic School, Caguas, PR
   

Javier began playing at the age of 11 in his hometown Caguas, Puerto Rico. Being only 5’8’’, he had a stellar high school career as a setter leading his team to several tournament wins and being selected MVP 7 times.  Javier started coaching volleyball at the age of 20.  At age 23, he was named Head Coach for the University of Humacao, PR.   He continued his winning career as Head Coach for SJA Catholic High School in Puerto Rico with a 14 year tournament winning streak.  Many of his former high school players are now collegiate players.
